Hello everyone!

Going back to the basics today for the first day of our Collector Tin week, Summoned Skull! This 2500 ATK Vanilla monster was once a staple in the early days of Yu-Gi-Oh! (and I mean the VERY early days, back when every deck was pure beatdown with a couple of Exodia ones here and there).

There is a slight situation with our GX episodes. Instead of getting episode 96 today, CITV aird episode 97. Episode 97 was supposed to be aired on the Tuesday in the UK. CITV might air episoe 96 tomorrow, I don't know. Episode 96 is also due to be aired TONIGHT in the US of A on Cartoon Network, and if it does, then I may be able to get it from a torrent tomorrow if I need to. If anyone manages to catch it and can notify me on which episode it is then I would be very grateful, thank you.

Well, I hope I've explained it well enough. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to email! Of course, I have uploaded episode 97, and I have watched it myself (I have to watch all of them to check the video out, what a burden that is to push all my homework back an hour and watch Yu-Gi-Oh! GX every day!). I haven't added it to the main list, so I'm leaving it up to you if you want to watch it (you can find the link in the grey updates box above this one).

Well I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully with episode 96!

You stay classy, Planet Earth.

I am reporting here from the same place as always on a Thursday evening; not so coincidentally the same day as the launch of our new Ladder System! If you don't no what a ladder system is (and you should we've been talking about it non-stop for the past few days) it's an online duelist league where you can sign up and duel other duelists all around the world using Yu-Gi-Oh! Virtual Desktop! Using things called "Ladder Tickets" in your duels and setting up duels from the online chatroom, you can work your way up the duelist rankings and aim to be the best! So what are you waiting for? Sign up now! But please read the tutorial...

Our Card of the Day today is Stealth Bird! This annoying little critter inflicts 1000 points of damage when it's flipped up! What's more, it can flip itself down again! TJK kicks of the usual.

Finally, we have a new episode up! As you no doubt know, episode 89 was postponed till Wednesday for unknown reasons, but Cartoon Network have changed their schedule yet again! You can check out a full upcomig schedule at, but all you need to know is that the regular Saturday broadcasts will continue at their current rate (The Darkness Within will be shown this Saturday too, Pro-Dueling next Saturday), and one other thing. They've also returned to broadcasting once every weekday now, although inexplicably this Friday and the Tuesday coming are both episode-less. So you can look forward to Pro-Dueling airing tonight and on the site tomorrow, but then not another one till airing Monday and on-site Tuesday.

That's all I guess! You are the weakest link...Goodbye.

Well, all my exams are now over at last and school returns to what it originally was. Now I just need to see how bad I've done.

Our Card of the Day yesterday was Accumilated Fortune, yet another "Chain-dependent" card. This one allows you to draw two cards when it's chain link 4 or higher. Xero and I give you the lowdown.

I have received a few emails enquiring about the ladder. Well all I can say is that the new ladder system is almost completely ready for launch. I'm just waiting for a reply from Philip who put a lot of hard work into this. So thank you again Philip!

Finally, before I go, I just thought I'd bring to your attention, in case you didn't know, that the CITV channel in the UK, about a couple of weeks ago, began showing Season 2 of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX on Weekday mornings. Evidently on Friday they showed "Mirror, Mirror (Part 1)", which is episode 78.

And on one last note, I keep meaning to tell you about a new Yu-Gi-Oh! GX magazine which is going on sale in the UK. It's called the "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Guide", and it contains Episode Guides, Show details, puzzles, etc., and each episode comes free with a GX Medal (and chain) and a Triang (which is like a little triangle representation of a monster that you can clip together).

Bis Morgen wann ich werde GX Episode 88 gehabt! That reminds me, I wonder I well I did on my German...

Sorry there was no update yesterday, but I was alarmingly busy. These mock tests are bleeding me dry and I'm only 3 days in!

GX Episode 86 is now up. It's up in LQ and in HQ on the forums so, check them out if you have time!

Well that was easy. Next item of business... you may have noticed a small message below the cbox on the main site. Even if you haven't seen it it's probably on your screen right now, depending on how far you've scrolled down. Anyway, unless you only joined our community in the past couple of months you will probably remember a ladder system we had on the site a few months ago. Unfortunately, it closed due to some issues we were having but a new one is currently in development (don't thank me, thank Philip for all the hard work he's been doing!). Anyway, the ladder is in urgent need of a banner, so this may be a chance to show off your great GFX skills! If you would like to design a potential banner for the ladder, then don't hesitate to contact me at as the message says!

Our Card of the Day today is Kuriboh. That's right it's that old classic little lump of fur that has driven Yugi fans wild for years! And we are at last reviewing him right here on the site!

Until tomorrow my fellow YFs!

Happy New Year everybody!

Sorry my message was a little slow but you know how it is. New Years celebrations left and right, acting like a complete bafoon in front of complete strangers, not to mention the fact that my holidays are winding down. With Yu-Gi-Oh! GX postponed another week due to it being New Years Eve and all, I'm beginning to think that the finale of "Torchwood" is the last bit of enjoyment I get in my holidays.

For those of you who don't know what Torchwood is, it's the spinoff show to Doctor Who. Stars John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness.

But anyway, I'm going on about nothing. Our Card of the Day today (which is now celebrating its first birthday so: Cheers to CotD!) is Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer! We have reviews from at least TJK and Creation! And may I say another congratulations, whilst we're on that note, to TJK who was voted the best staff member of 2006 by the members!

Until tomorrow! And also don't forget to keep watching the pop-ups cause we'll have the song line corresponding to the fourth day of Christmas as promised tomorrow!
